The Shack’s, a movie based on the novel written by William P. Young, character Missy was supposedly abducted and murdered by a serial killer, who goes by the name “Little Ladykiller.”
Missy was the daughter of Mackenzie Allen Phillips, the main character of the movie/ Novel. He was the father of five and goes by “Mack.” The movie centers around him and the emotional trauma he goes through.
Mack was born to an abusive drunk father, who treated harshly to him and his mother. Going through unbearable abuse of his father, he murdered his father. After that, he starts a beautiful family, but he gets struck by his daughter’s abduction again.

Who Killed Missy?
Missy is killed by a serial killer named Little Ladykiller. The serial killer has also killed other little girls, according to the police, and Missy was another victim of his heinous crime.
In The Shack, the serial killer is never identified and remains an enigma, but the killer is found in the novel. Many movie watchers are troubled that they never get a chance to know who killed Missy.

Do They Find Missy In The Shack?
The Shack explores the mental and emotional trouble Missy’s father, Mack, goes through after his daughter goes missing. His daughter is declared to have died and killed by a serial killer, but they never find her body.
Mack has told himself that his daughter is dead; however, never gets closure because he never sees her body and never gets a chance to catch her killer. This mystery keeps troubling him and kills him inside.
