Chris and Kyle are the proud brothers of Taylor Fritz. Professionally, Chris is a skilled fitness expert, and Kyle is an entrepreneur who runs his own business. 

All three Fritz siblings were raised in the San Diego metropolitan region. They are the great-great-grandson of Morton D. May and the great-grandson of David May, who founded The May Department Stores Company, which merged with Macy’s.

As a former Torrey Pines High School freshman, he won the CIF singles championship in the San Diego area. He transferred to an online high school to play full-time ITF junior competitions a few months into his second year.

Before he participated in a low-level Grade-4 competition in March 2013 in Claremont, close to where he was raised, at age 15, Fritz had never participated in an ITF event.

He wouldn’t participate in another competition until the 2013 Junior US Open on the ITF Circuit before turning 16. He reached the 2014 Junior Wimbledon tournament semifinals the following year. Then, in 2014, he won his first Grade A match at Osaka Mayor’s Cup.

Taylor Fritz was born on October 28, 1997, in Rancho Santa Fe, California, to mother Kathy May and father Guy Henry Fritz. 

His mother is a former American tennis player. She made it to the quarterfinals of three Grand Slam tournaments at the US Open in 1978 and the French Open twice in 1977 and 1978. Kathy won seven WTA singles championships and peaked at world no. 10 in 1977.

Similarly, his father is also a tennis player and coach. He was recognized as the 2016 US Olympic Development Coach of the Year. Taylor’s father introduced him to tennis and coached him as a young player. Guy has aided many young athletes in getting access to different athletic scholarships so they may further their tennis careers.

His Mother Had Two Previous Marriages Before She Wed Guy Henry Fritz

Taylor Fritz’s mother, Kathy May, married top-10 tennis player and 1980 Australian Open winner Brian Teacher, a fellow Californian, in 1979 & they later divorced. Teacher’s highest-ever singles and doubles rankings came in 1981 when he was ranked No. 7 and 5, respectively. In his career, he won 16 doubles titles and eight singles titles. 

After then, she wed firefighter Donn Paben in 1981; they had two boys together before divorcing. Later, she married Guy Fritz, her third husband, and gave birth to Taylor Fritz, her third son.

Raquel Pedraza is well-known as the ex-wife of Taylor Fritz. Like, Taylor, Raquel is also a professional tennis player.

She was born on January 28, 1998, in California. At age 5, Raquel began playing tennis. Raquel is American, but she also has Mexican heritage. She has excellent English and Spanish skills.

Taylor wed Raquel in Rancho Santa Fe, California, on July 7. They married conventionally. Fritz had a beautiful proposal prepared as he proclaimed his love to Raquel in front of the Eiffel Tower. 

He Has A Son Jordan Fritz With Ex-Wife Raquel Pedraza

Taylor Fritz and his ex-wife are the parents of a son Jordan Fritz. The pair welcomed their son in January 2017. 

Raquel gave up tennis after the birth of her son. As the American No. 1 tennis player, Fritz has advanced in his tennis career, but Raquel’s whereabouts after giving birth remain unclear.

After the divorce, Taylor continues to spend time with his son and is aware of his parental duties. In 2020, Fritz spent time with his kid while COVID-19 was under lockdown.

Taylor Fritz and his gorgeous girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, have been dating for more than two years, according to a post celebrating their anniversary on his Instagram. Morgan is a fashion influencer and media director for Gamers Outreach.

Previously, Morgan worked as the media director for Love Your Melon, an apparel brand with headquarters in Minneapolis. She obtained her degree in English Language & Literature from Wagner College. Not to mention, she also served as a host for Hollywire, a popular YouTube channel where she gave lifestyle tips and reported on entertainment news.

She subsequently began working as an influencer campaign manager for the digital marketing firm MuteSix. She then changed to Gamers Outreach, a charity that provides video games to patients’ families as entertainment, in July 2021.

Additionally, Riddle’s fashion, beauty, and travel-related material have helped her gain a sizable following on Instagram and TikTok. She is most renowned, though, for providing an inside glimpse into the world of professional tennis and enticing a younger audience to the sport.
